As a reaction for the upcoming quartz watches ROLEX introduced in 1977 a new modell, the OYSTERQUARTZ as an addition to the DATEJUST and DAY-DATE series.
With the case in its octagon shaped style and the updated President bracelet, the OYSTERQUARTZ has a own look, but you can clearly see the design origin.
This rare DAY-DATE version comes with an even rarer Mahogany wooden dial and has been serviced in February 2022.
Discontinued ROLEX design that has rissen in popularity over the last years and has just become a new interpretation with the LAND-DWELLER.
