As a reaction for the upcoming quartz watches ROLEX introduced in 1977 a new modell, the OYSTERQUARTZ as an addition to the DATEJUST and DAY-DATE series.

With the case in its octagon shaped style and the updated President bracelet, the OYSTERQUARTZ has a own look, but you can clearly see the design origin.

This rare DAY-DATE version comes with an even rarer Mahogany wooden dial and has been serviced in February 2022.
