Crafted in 18k rose gold and combining a perpetual calendar with moonphase and chronograph complications, this legendary reference represents the pinnacle of traditional Swiss haute horlogerie and stands among the most iconic Patek Philippe creations of the modern era.

Manufactured in 1997, this remarkable example is accompanied by its original box, setting pin, extract from the archives, and additional solid 18k rose gold caseback.

The elegant 36 mm case is manufactured entirely in solid 18k rose gold and showcases the timeless proportions that have made the Ref. 3970 such an enduring classic. Featuring beautifully stepped lugs, slim chronograph pushers, and a perfectly balanced profile, the case embodies understated sophistication and vintage charm while maintaining a refined and elegant wrist presence. The watch is further accompanied by both its sapphire crystal display back and original solid rose gold caseback, allowing the owner to alternate between showcasing the movement and preserving the watch’s traditional aesthetic.

Admired by collectors worldwide, the CH 27-70 Q remains one of the most respected traditional chronograph calibers ever used by Patek Philippe.
