The Luminor Chrono takes Panerai's unmistakable case architecture and puts it to work as a genuine sports chronograph, and this reference does it in one of the brand's less common configurations, fitted to a steel bracelet rather than the leather strap most Panerai models are known for.

The 44mm AISI 316L brushed steel case keeps Panerai's patented crown protecting bridge fully intact, that distinctive lever locking device over the crown that has defined the Luminor silhouette since its origins as an Italian naval diving instrument. A polished steel bezel and a steel bracelet round out a case package built for genuine daily durability.

The blue sunburst dial pairs luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers with a hollowed chronograph minute counter at three o'clock and a small seconds counter at nine, while the central chronograph seconds hand sweeps across a tachymeter scale set into the dial's outer rehaut rather than on the bezel itself.

Inside runs the caliber P.9200, Panerai's own automatic chronograph movement, 41 jewels beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a Glucydur balance and Incabloc anti-shock protection, delivering 42 hours of power reserve from its single barrel.
