This is a very good Rolex vintage GMT-Master Ref.6542 in stainless steel.
Manufactured in IV 1958, this early model has no crown guard, radium dial and hands.
Has got the original bezel however a after market bakelite inlay.
Amazing collectors item and investment piece.
The GMT-Master is one of the most legendary and wanted Rolex tool watches.
It was PAN AM Airlines, that asked Rolex to develop a sportive two time zone wrist watch model for their pilots for their Paris-New York route.
Since six decades the GMT-Master repesents the daily Rolex for the world traveller.
