Here at Bachmann & Scher we can offer you this very good Rolex vintage Explorer II Orange Hand Ref.1655 in stainless steel with Oyster bracelet.
This watch is a Mark 1 model from 1971, the year the Explorer II was introduced in the market.
The tritium on the dial and hands is still the original one and shows some slight discoloration. The bezel however is a later Mark III one as is the second hand - most probably were changed during a Rolex Service.
Great collectos pick and very beautiful early example.
The watch goes under the different nick names like Orange Hand, Freccione or Steve McQueen (who had one)
