Our remarks
This is a very good Rolex vintage Pre-Daytona Chronograph Ref.6238 in stainless steel with Oyster bracelet.
Manufactured in 1962, this early 6238 still has the dial of the predecessor ref.6234 build in.
This watch has got all parts authentic from the time, but the Oyster bracelet is of a later date 3/1970.
This model was the last chronograph before the legendary Daytona Cosmograph.
Rare and very collectable.
One of the great gentleman's sports chronos.
The ref. 6238 was also used in the 007 adventure "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" - a real Bond watch.
