We are very proud to offer you this very good to excellent ROLEX vintage PRE-DAYTONA Chronograph Ref. 6238 in stainless steel with brown leather strap and ROLEX pin buckle.
Manufactured in 1964, this rare piece was the last of the ROLEX chronographs with the Tachymeter scale printed on the dial - DAYTONA later had it on their bezel.
This ROLEX PRE-DAYTONA has got a quite perfect silver sun burst dial with all Tritium lume on the dial and hands.
The reference was also used in a 007 adventure with George Lazenby staring as JAMES BOND - though with a black dial.
Still undervalued ROLEX collector's piece.
