Our remarks
This is an excellent Rolex vintage Daytona Cosmograph Cherry Logo ref.6239 in stainless steel.
Manufactured in the year 1967, this model has got the first dial with Red Daytona writing around the hour totalisator.
When Rolex started to sponser the Daytona car race event in Florida, U.S.A. the dials in the US production started with the red writing. Only much later this was also done with the european models.
All parts authentic from the time of production, beside the leather strap.
