Our remarks
This is a very good Patek Philippe HOUR GLASS ref.1593 in 18k rose gold.
Comes with an extract from Patek and the original 18k PP buckle. The silver dial with golden applied hour markers and arabic numerlas has been restored.
Very rare and fine collectors item.
The rectangular, so called Cocktail Watches from Patek and other grand brands were very fashionable among american rich and famous in the 1930s and 40s. Showstars like Clark Gable, Fred Astaire, Cary Cooper and David Niven and many others wore these models at the blue hour.
The Patek HOUR Glass is one of the most beautiful examples.
