Vacheron Constantin Overseas Self-Winding Ref. 4500V/000R-B127, 18k Pink Gold, Silver Dial, 41 mm, Year 2021

The Overseas is Vacheron Constantin’s luxury sports watch, and its roots go back to the legendary “222” from 1977. In 2016 the house presented the third generation of the Overseas, and with it the reference 4500V, which many consider the most balanced version the collection has ever had. It combines a relaxed, sporty character with the refinement you would expect from the oldest watch manufacture in the world. In pink gold with a silver dial, it shows its most elegant side.

The 41 mm case is made of 18 karat 5N pink gold, a warm, rich gold tone. The bezel’s six-sided shape is inspired by the Maltese cross, Vacheron Constantin’s emblem, and the interplay of polished and satin-finished surfaces gives the gold remarkable depth. Through the sapphire caseback you can admire the movement.

The silver dial has a sunburst finish that plays beautifully with the light and pairs perfectly with the warm pink gold. The applied gold hour markers and hands are filled with luminous material, so the watch stays readable at night, and the date window sits at 3 o’clock. 

Inside works the self-winding manufacture caliber 5100 with around 60 hours of power reserve. It carries the Hallmark of Geneva, one of the strictest quality seals in watchmaking, and its gold rotor is finely decorated.

The watc h is worn on a brown rubber strap with an 18 karat pink gold Vacheron Constantin folding clasp. Thanks to the brand’s interchangeable system, straps can be changed by hand in seconds, without any tools.

The watch dates from 2021 and is in excellent condition. It comes with box and papers.
