We are pleased to offer this distinguished Vacheron Constantin Historiques Chronograph Ref. 47001/000J, manufactured in 18K yellow gold with brown crocodile strap and gold pin buckle.
The watch comes has a complete original set — a beautifully preserved example of neo-vintage Geneva watchmaking.
Produced during the late 1990s as part of the esteemed Historiques collection, this reference pays tribute to Vacheron Constantin’s classic chronograph designs of the mid-20th century, blending traditional proportions with refined aesthetics. The 36mm yellow gold case features elegant pump pushers, a slim polished bezel, and sharply defined lugs — all hallmarks of the maison’s timeless design language.
The silver-toned dial offers a balanced and symmetrical layout, with applied gold baton indices, feuille hands, and two recessed subdials for running seconds and 30-minute chronograph totalizer. A subtle tachymeter scale at the outer edge adds both functionality and vintage character.
Inside beats the hand-wound Caliber 1140, based on the legendary Lemania 2310 architecture — renowned for its robustness, beauty, and use by the finest chronograph houses. The movement is hand-finished to Vacheron Constantin’s exacting standards and remains one of the most respected chronograph calibers in traditional watchmaking.
