Originally delivered in 1981, this watch is accompanied by a Vacheron Constantin Extract from the Archives, confirming its production and sale date. With its sharp lines, integrated bracelet, and minimalist design, the 222 stands as with of the most iconic sports-luxury watches of the 20th century — designed by the young Jörg Hysek and released to mark Vacheron Constantin’s 222nd anniversary.

This particular example is the 33mm automatic version, often referred to as the “mid-size,” though it wears elegantly on both smaller and medium wrists due to the integrated bracelet design and full gold presence.
