We are proud to present the Urwerk UR-105 “T-Rex,” one of the most distinctive and sought-after creations from Urwerk’s avant-garde horological universe. Produced as a strictly limited edition of just 22 pieces and delivered in 2017, this example is offered in excellent condition and comes complete with its full set of box and papers.
The iconic “T-Rex” aesthetic is defined by its sculpted bronze front shield, meticulously hand-finished with a reptilian-scale pattern that gives the watch its striking, organic presence. The bronze element develops a unique patina over time, adding character and individuality to each example. The remainder of the case is constructed from DLC-coated titanium, ensuring exceptional lightness, durability, and a deep, stealth-like appearance.
The UR-105’s satellite wandering-hour display is quintessential Urwerk—an innovative, mechanically complex system that presents time through rotating satellites and minute markers with exceptional clarity and drama. The interplay of bronze, black DLC, and illuminated indicators delivers a bold, futuristic visual experience.
Powered by Urwerk’s automatic UR 5.02 caliber, the watch offers bi-directional winding regulated by the brand’s turbine system, enhancing shock protection and winding efficiency. The caseback features the “control board,” including the power reserve indicator and fine-adjustment mechanism, underscoring Urwerk’s dedication to technical ingenuity as both function and art.
