ULYSSE NARDIN Classico "The Hour Glass Ginza 25th Anniversary", Reference 3203-136LE-7A-THG/1A, Stainless Steel, Limited Edition, Papers, Year 2021, New-Like

Commissioned by The Hour Glass in Ginza to mark 25 years as Tokyo's only outpost of the Singapore-based retailer, this Classico edition was built specifically to reflect Japanese collector taste, restrained, detail-obsessed, and quietly luxurious rather than showy.

The 40mm stainless steel case is fitted with a sapphire crystal and worn on an alligator strap with a steel folding buckle, keeping every proportion of the standard Classico while refining the details that matter most to a discerning eye.

The salmon-toned dial is finished with a radial guilloché pattern and applied Breguet numerals with matching Breguet hands, a distinctly classical style for a brand normally associated with Roman numerals. Even the "Swiss Made" text sits directly on the minute track to streamline the layout, and the date function found on every standard Classico was deliberately removed in the name of a cleaner, more elegant face.

Inside runs the caliber UN-320, Ulysse Nardin's own entry-level in-house movement upgraded here with a 22k rose gold rotor in place of the standard brass, a discreet touch typically reserved for the brand's complicated pieces, and a detail invisible until the case back is turned over. The movement features a free-sprung balance wheel with a silicon hairspring, escape wheel and pallet fork, wound via a Magic Lever mechanism, delivering 48 hours of power reserve.

Limited to just 25 pieces and sold exclusively through The Hour Glass Ginza boutique, genuine examples are rarely seen outside Japan.
