We are pleased to present this exceptional vintage Rolex Submariner Date, reference 1680, featuring the highly sought-after Mark II "Red Submariner" dial, housed in a stainless steel case and fitted with its original folded Oyster bracelet with Flip-Lock clasp (9315/580).
This early 1969 "Meters First" tritium dial example showcases the distinctive Mark II configuration, easily identified by the elongated "F" in "Feet." Most notably, it features a stunningly aged silver-grey bezel insert, known among collectors as the "Ghost Bezel," a striking and naturally faded detail that enhances its vintage character.
