Our remarks
We can offer you this very good vintage ROLEX SUBMARINER DATE, ref. 1680, in stainless steel on its stainless steel Oyster bracelet.
Produced in 1979 this SUBMARINER features a beautiful matte MK 3 dial, also called Maxi Dial, due to the bigger luminous Tritium spots.
The hour and minute hands, still featuring their original Tritium, were replaced at some point in the watch’s history. The date disc, however, remains original and retains the characteristic open 6 and silver printing, adding to the watch’s authentic vintage character.
The Oyster bracelet is stamped R12, dating it to the late 1990s. The bezel insert is from a later generation and complements the overall appearance of this exceptional timepiece.
Powered by the robust, self-winding and Chronometer certified automatic movement 1575 with a power reserve of approx. 38 hours.
