Rolex Daytona Cosmograph Ref. 6263 – Stainless Steel – Black Tritium Sigma Dial – Bj-1975 

We are proud to offer this very good vintage Rolex Daytona Cosmograph Reference 6263, presented in stainless steel with a later steel Oyster bracelet (F).

This Daytonais fitted iconic black tritium dial — an essential reference within the pantheon of manually wound Rolex chronographs.

Dating to 1975, this example hails from the golden age of the Valjoux-powered Daytonas, embodying the purity of the pre-Zenith era with all the details that define the reference’s legendary reputation. The 6263 remains one of the most coveted configurations among collectors, distinguished by its screw-down pushers, classic 37 mm Oyster case, and a black acrylic Rolex service tachymeter bezel.

The matte black Sigma dial is beautifully preserved. The contrasting silver subdials provide exceptional visual clarity.

The stainless steel Oyster case remains strong and well-defined, preserving the robust proportions that collectors seek in mid-1970s Daytona examples. The screw-down pushers and Triplock crown operate with the tactile precision expected of this era, further affirming the watch’s integrity and mechanical honesty.

Inside beats the venerable Valjoux 727 movement — the final and most advanced evolution of Rolex’s hand-wound chronograph calibers — renowned for its reliability, crisp actuation, and place at the heart of the most celebrated vintage Daytona references.
