Highly sought after by collectors around the world, the reference 6263 represents the golden era of manually wound Daytonas and remains a cornerstone in the world of vintage sports chronographs.

Manufactured in 1971, this outstanding example features the highly desirable “Big Eyes” tritium dial, a rare and charismatic configuration distinguished by its oversized chronograph sub-dials, which give the watch a particularly bold and well-balanced appearance. Daytonas with this dial variation are increasingly difficult to find and are considered especially appealing among seasoned vintage collectors.

The classic 37,5 mm stainless steel Oyster case is complemented by the distinctive black acrylic tachymeter bezel, a defining hallmark of the reference 6263. Designed originally as a professional racing chronograph, the watch combines functional robustness with timeless aesthetics. The addition of the original screw-down chronograph pushers and the Triplock crown enhanced water resistance compared to earlier Daytona references, reinforcing the model’s sporting pedigree.

The striking black dial with contrasting white “Big Eyes” registers creates a dramatic panda-style aesthetic, offering exceptional clarity and unmistakable vintage charm.
