We are proud to present this excellent Rolex Daytona Cosmograph, Reference 16520—one of the most celebrated modern vintage chronographs ever produced. This example dates to the year 2000 and belongs to the highly sought-after “Last Series” P-number production, representing the final chapter of the legendary Zenith El Primero–powered Daytonas.

Housed in a 40 mm stainless steel Oyster case, the Ref. 16520 marked a pivotal moment in Daytona history when Rolex reintroduced the model with an automatic chronograph movement. The robust case construction, screw-down pushers, and tachymeter-engraved bezel embody the Daytona’s unmistakable racing heritage while offering everyday durability and presence.

The crisp white dial is both sporty and refined, featuring applied white gold hour markers with luminous accents and contrasting black sub-dials for optimal legibility. The balanced tri-compax layout, paired with the bold “Daytona” signature above the 6 o’clock register, defines one of the most iconic chronograph designs ever created. As a “Last Series” example, this watch represents the final evolution of the Zenith-powered era before Rolex transitioned to its in-house caliber.

Powering the watch is the Rolex Caliber 4030, based on the renowned Zenith El Primero movement and extensively modified by Rolex to meet its exacting standards. Beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, the movement is celebrated for its precision, robustness, and historical significance within the Daytona lineage.
