We are honored to present this outstanding and highly sought-after vintage Rolex Day-Date “Stella”, reference 18038, exquisitely crafted in 18k yellow gold and offered on a refined beige leather strap with matching Rolex pin buckle. This example stands among the most desirable configurations of the Day-Date line.
Dating from circa 1979/80, this extraordinary piece features a striking Coral Orange enamel “Stella” dial, celebrated for its vibrant lacquer finish and unmistakable presence. The dial is in flawless condition, free from cracks or aging—an exceptional rarity given the fragile nature of these enamel pieces. Applied baton hour markers further elevate its elegance, distinguishing it from the majority of Stella dials that were configured with diamond indices. This understated baton execution is significantly rarer and highly coveted by seasoned collectors.
