Crafted in a robust 42 mm Oystersteel case, reference 326934 is distinguished by its bi-directional fluted Ring Command bezel in 18 ct white gold. This ingenious system forms a mechanical interface with the movement, allowing the wearer to select between the winding, date, local time, and reference time-setting positions simply by rotating the bezel—eliminating the need for multiple pushers and preserving the watch’s clean, elegant profile.

The deep black sunray dial provides a striking, high-contrast canvas for the Sky-Dweller’s highly legible dual time display. The centrally mounted hands indicate local time, while an off-center 24-hour disc clearly differentiates between day and night in the reference time zone—an essential feature for frequent travelers.

A defining element of the Sky-Dweller is its Saros annual calendar, named after the astronomical cycle governing eclipses. This sophisticated mechanism uses a planetary gear system to automatically distinguish between 30- and 31-day months. The current month is discreetly indicated by a red marker within one of twelve apertures around the dial, offering exceptional clarity without disrupting the dial’s symmetry. Its advanced gear train architecture allows for independent and rapid adjustment of the local hour hand in one-hour increments—both forwards and backwards—without stopping the seconds hand or disturbing the reference time. This “jumping hour” function also drives instantaneous date changes, both forwards and backwards, providing exceptional convenience when crossing time zones.
