Launched to commemorate filmmaker and explorer James Cameron’s historic 2012 solo dive to the Mariana Trench, this special Deepsea edition stands out with its striking “D-Blue” gradient dial — fading from deep blue to black — symbolizing the ocean’s descent into the depths. The dial is complemented by bold Chromalight-filled hour markers and hands for maximum legibility in any environment.

The robust Oystersteel case, measuring an imposing 44mm, is rated for an extraordinary water resistance of 3,900 meters (12,800 feet), made possible by Rolex’s advanced Ringlock System and Helium Escape Valve. The unidirectional Cerachrom bezel insert in black ceramic ensures durability and precision for professional divers.

At its core lies the Rolex Caliber 3235, a next-generation automatic movement featuring a Chronergy escapement, Parachrom hairspring, and an impressive 70-hour power reserve. Certified as a Superlative Chronometer, it guarantees accuracy within -2/+2 seconds per day — a hallmark of Rolex engineering excellence.
