We are delighted to offer this excellent and freshly serviced Rolex Explorer II Ref. 16570 in stainless steel, complete with its original-style Oyster bracelet.
Produced for more than two decades, the reference 16570 has become one of Rolex’s most enduring and versatile professional sports watches. Combining a robust construction with a highly functional GMT complication, it was designed for travelers, explorers, and anyone requiring the ability to track a second time zone.
This particularly attractive example is fitted with the sought-after white “Polar” dial, featuring applied luminous hour markers and the distinctive red GMT hand. The crisp white dial contrasts beautifully with the brushed 40 mm stainless-steel case and fixed 24-hour graduated bezel, giving the watch its unmistakable Explorer II character.
Inside, the watch is powered by Rolex’s reliable Caliber 3185 automatic movement. Introduced with the Explorer II and other GMT-equipped models of its era, the Caliber 3185 features an independently adjustable 24-hour hand, allowing a second time zone to be read in conjunction with the fixed bezel. The movement offers a power reserve of approximately 50 hours.
