ROLEX Explorer II, Reference 226570, Stainless Steel, Black Dial, Box and Papers, Year 2023, Full Set, Excellent

Developed originally for cave explorers and polar adventurers who needed a clear way to tell day from night, the Explorer II carries that purpose into its current 42mm form without losing an ounce of its tool watch character.

The Oystersteel case measures 42mm with a fixed steel bezel etched with a graduated 24 hour scale, a screw-down Twinlock crown and solid case back, worn on the Oyster bracelet with Oysterlock clasp and Easylink extension.

The black dial pairs bold index hour markers and Mercedes hands with Chromalight luminescence, and the distinctive orange 24 hour hand tracks the second time zone at a glance, even in total darkness.

Inside runs the caliber 3285, Rolex's own automatic movement with a Chronergy escapement and blue Parachrom hairspring, delivering roughly 70 hours of power reserve and full chronometer certification.
