ROLEX Cosmograph Daytona, Reference 126509, 18k White Gold, Blue Dial, Box and Papers, Year 2025, Full Set, Like New

When Rolex retired the white gold blue dial Daytona back in 2023, it left a genuine gap for collectors who had come to see that particular combination as a modern classic. This 2025 reissue closes that gap, bringing the bright blue dial back in the current generation Daytona while keeping everything that made the original so sought after.

The 40mm case, bezel and Oyster bracelet are all cut from the same solid 18k white gold, giving the watch that dense, monochromatic presence Rolex reserves for its precious metal Daytonas, weight in the hand that no steel chronograph can imitate. The tachymeter scale sits engraved directly into the polished gold bezel rather than on a separate insert, keeping the whole case reading as one continuous object.

The blue dial carries a lacquered depth that shifts with the light, with the chronograph layout and the red "Daytona" script that has marked this dial color since its introduction. 

That movement is the caliber 4131, Rolex's current in-house chronograph, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with 47 jewels and certified as a Superlative Chronometer, accurate to within two seconds a day.
