First introduced in 2000 and produced until 2016, the reference 116523 marked a significant chapter in Daytona history, being among the first to feature Rolex’s in-house chronograph movement—the Caliber 4130. Known for its reliability, slim profile, and efficient architecture, the 4130 movement remains a benchmark in chronograph design.
The present model features a rich black dial with gold sub-dials, luminous hour markers, and the iconic tachymeter bezel in 18k yellow gold—providing an ideal contrast to the steel case and bracelet.
