We are pleased to present this timeless Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Ref. 116520, a cornerstone of modern Rolex collecting and one of the most enduring stainless steel chronographs ever produced.

Introduced in 2000 and discontinued in 2016, the reference 116520 marked a significant milestone for Rolex as the first Daytona powered by a fully in-house movement. Its production run represents a pivotal era in the evolution of the Daytona, bridging classic design with modern engineering.

Crafted in robust Oystersteel, the 40 mm Oyster case offers perfect proportions and exceptional wearability. The crisp white dial—highly sought after among collectors—features contrasting black subdials, delivering both outstanding legibility and a clean, sporty aesthetic. The engraved steel bezel with tachymeter scale reinforces the model’s racing heritage.

At the heart of the watch lies the Rolex calibre 4130, a self-winding chronograph movement widely regarded as one of the finest in its class. Known for its reliability, efficiency, and reduced component count, it provides exceptional performance and a power reserve of approximately 72 hours.
