The ROLEX DAYTONA COSMOGRAPH Ref. 116520 impresses with its sporty, timeless design, made entirely of stainless steel. The 40 mm Oyster case is made of durable 904L stainless steel, which is known for its corrosion resistance and durability. The fixed stainless steel bezel is equipped with an engraved tachymeter scale, which is used to measure speed and underlines the DAYTONA`s deep connection with motorsport.
The white dial gives the watch a classic yet sporty look. Three silver-rimmed chronograph totalizers measure the seconds, minutes and hours, ideal for precise time measurements. The hour markers and hands are coated with luminous material, which guarantees good readability even in poor lighting conditions. The dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
The Oyster bracelet, also made of stainless steel, is not only durable, but also offers optimal wearing comfort. Equipped with an Oysterlock folding clasp, the strap ensures a secure fit on the wrist.
Inside the watch is the ROLEX manufacture caliber 4130, a high-precision automatic movement with chronograph function. The caliber is COSC-certified and offers a power reserve of approximately 72 hours.
The ROLEX DAYTONA was introduced in 1963 and has been a symbol of precision and performance in motorsport ever since. The reference 116520, which was produced from 2000 to 2016, marks the transition to ROLEX’s own chronograph movements and is particularly popular with collectors due to its classic stainless steel design.
