A true classic, a timeless icon and quite possibly one of the most charming Daytonas you will come across.
Offered here is the highly desirable Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Ref. 116520, featuring the iconic black dial and stainless-steel Oyster case and bracelet. A modern Rolex classic, powered by the legendary in-house automatic chronograph movement and representing the final generation of the stainless-steel Daytona before the introduction of the ceramic bezel.
Originally sold by Wempe Germany on 24 December 2014, this Daytona was quite literally a Christmas watch, purchased on Christmas Eve. A wonderful and memorable detail that makes this timepiece even more special.
This example has been exceptionally well preserved and can genuinely be described as a Safe Queen. It comes with its original box and papers, and even retains its protective stickers, a remarkable feature for a watch of this age.
