Rolex Cellini Prince - Ref. 54408 - 18k Yellow Gold - Box & Papers 2007 - Rolex Service 2026 - Excellent

The Rolex Cellini Prince represents a sophisticated departure from the brand’s traditional Oyster cases and revives the elegant rectangular shape of the historic original from the 1920s. This 2007 model is crafted from solid 18-karat yellow gold and features an Art Deco-inspired silhouette that highlights the classic proportions of a dress watch. The intricately designed sides of the case flow seamlessly into the integrated lugs, giving the watch a refined and distinctive look on the wrist.

The dial features a unique design, highlighted by a striking champagne-colored main dial with Clous de Paris guilloché. The silver-toned sub-dial for the hours and minutes is complemented by a generously sized small seconds sub-dial directly below it. The contrasting textures and champagne tones ensure excellent readability and a multi-layered aesthetic. The unique character of this model is underscored by a sapphire crystal case back—a rarity for Rolex—which offers a view of the hand-wound Caliber 7040 movement. The movement itself is meticulously decorated with guilloché patterns that mirror the engraving on the dial.
