Unlike traditional haute horlogerie chronographs, the RM 65-01 was engineered to withstand the demands of everyday wear while delivering outstanding reliability under the most demanding conditions.

At the heart of the watch is the in-house automatic Calibre RMAC4, a highly complex movement operating at 5 Hz (36,000 vibrations per hour) to provide enhanced chronograph precision. The movement incorporates a patented rapid-winding mechanism, allowing the mainspring to be fully wound with a simple push of the dedicated pusher, while additional functions such as the variable-geometry rotor, function selector, oversized date display, and annual calendar further demonstrate Richard Mille's uncompromising approach to technical innovation. The skeletonized movement is housed within the lightweight Grade 5 titanium case and paired with a black rubber strap, offering exceptional comfort while emphasizing the watch's distinctly sporting character.
