This masterpiece of haute horlogerie is a Grande Complication, combining a split-seconds chronograph (rattrapante) with a perpetual calendar, moon phases, and day/night indication — a demonstration of Patek Philippe's unmatched command of complicated mechanical watchmaking, a tradition the brand has led since the early 1940s.
This particular reference is fitted with the highly sought-after black dial, a configuration that has since been discontinued, adding further rarity and appeal for the discerning collector.
