PATEK PHILIPPE Nautilus, Reference 5711/1A-014, Stainless Steel, Olive Green Dial, Box and Papers, Year 2021, Excellent, WEMPE, Germany, Like New

When Patek Philippe announced the end of the stainless steel 5711 in blue, it closed that chapter with this final release, an olive green dial that instantly became the most talked-about farewell in modern watchmaking and the last steel 5711 the manufacture ever produced.

The 40mm stainless steel case keeps Gerald Genta's original 1976 design fully intact, the rounded octagonal bezel and fully integrated bracelet flowing as one continuous shape, finished with the Nautilus's signature alternation of satin-brushed and polished surfaces.

The sunburst olive green dial carries the collection's horizontal embossed pattern, shifting between warm gold-green and deep forest tones depending on the light, paired with luminous applied hour markers and a date window at three o’clock.

Inside runs the ultra-thin caliber 26-330 S C, Patek's own self-winding movement with 29 jewels and 212 components, delivering 45 hours of power reserve and carrying the Patek Philippe Seal, visible through the sapphire case back.
