Patek Philippe Aquanaut Jumbo - Ref. 5168G-010 - 18k White Gold - Khaki Green Dial Box & Papers 2019 - Excellent

The Aquanaut has long stepped out of the shadow of the Nautilus. It is younger, more casual and a little more playful, and the 5168G-010 shows that side better than almost any other reference. White gold meets a khaki green that feels military and relaxed at the same time. It is a sports watch that is precious without trying to look precious.

The case measures 42.2 mm, which is why collectors call this model the "Jumbo". It is noticeably larger than the classic 40 mm Aquanaut and has a strong presence on the wrist. The case is made of 18 karat white gold and combines polished and satin finished surfaces, which catch the light in a very subtle way. It is water resistant to 120 meters.

The khaki green dial carries the embossed pattern that defines the Aquanaut. The applied Arabic numerals and hands are made of solid white gold and filled with luminous material, so they stay readable at night too. A date window at 3 o'clock completes the dial. A nice detail: the strap is a shade darker than the dial, which keeps the look balanced and gives the watch more depth.

Inside works the self-winding caliber 324 S C with a central rotor in 21 karat gold. You can see the finely finished movement through the sapphire caseback. The matching khaki green composite strap has the same pattern as the dial and closes with a white gold Aquanaut folding clasp.

This watch dates from 2019, the year this reference was introduced. It is in excellent condition and comes as a set with:
