We are pleased to offer this very good to excellent example of the highly limited and sought-after Panerai Radiomir “Independent” Ref. PAM00080, crafted in 18K white gold and presented on a brown crocodile strap with matching 18K white gold pin buckle.
Released in 2001 as a Limited Edition of only 160 pieces worldwide, this reference stands apart with its striking blue sunburst dial and the rare complication of a "Dead Seconds" (seconde morte)—a feature more commonly associated with high-precision quartz movements, yet here achieved through a mechanical caliber.
Housed within the 42mm Radiomir case—an uncommon and refined size for Panerai—this piece appeals to both gentlemen and ladies seeking an extraordinary and discreet presence on the wrist. Powering the watch is the legendary Chezard 7400 caliber, originally introduced in the 1950s and carefully revived for this model. Its intricate mechanics can be admired through the sapphire exhibition caseback.
