We are pleased to offer this iconic Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch, reference 311.30.42.30.01.006 - one of the most celebrated chronographs in watchmaking history. Revered for its direct connection to NASA’s manned space missions and the first lunar landing, the Speedmaster remains an enduring symbol of precision, reliability, and timeless design.

Crafted from stainless steel, the classic 42 mm asymmetrical case features the signature twisted lugs and satin-brushed finishes that have defined the Moonwatch for generations. Paired with the original stainless steel bracelet, it offers exceptional wearing comfort while preserving the unmistakable character of one of the world's most iconic chronographs.

The deep black dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and features the legendary tri-compax chronograph layout with the Omega logo, luminous hands and hour markers, and the iconic tachymeter bezel with black aluminium insert. Its perfectly balanced design has remained remarkably faithful to the original Moonwatch, combining outstanding legibility with timeless aesthetics.

Powering the watch is the hand-wound Omega Calibre 1863, the beautifully finished evolution of the legendary Moonwatch movement 1861. Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, the movement showcases rhodium-plated components and Geneva wave decoration, offering collectors the opportunity to admire one of Omega’s most historically significant calibres. With a power reserve of approximately 48 hours, it delivers the robust performance and reliability that have defined the Speedmaster for decades.

Unlike the traditional Hesalite Moonwatch, the Sapphire Sandwich features a sapphire crystal on both the front and the exhibition caseback, combining enhanced scratch resistance with an unobstructed view of the beautifully decorated movement—making it one of the most desirable pre-Master Chronometer Speedmaster references.
