OMEGA Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch, Reference 310.62.42.50.99.001, 18k Moonshine Gold, Yellow Dial, Folding Clasp, Box and Papers, Year 2023
Selected by NASA for spaceflight in the 1960s and worn on the first American spacewalk before becoming the first watch on the moon during Apollo 11, the Speedmaster Professional carries a legacy few watches can match, and this version brings that history into Omega's own proprietary gold alloy.
The 42mm case is crafted from 18K Moonshine Gold, an exclusive alloy Omega developed in 2019 with silver, copper and palladium for a paler hue than traditional yellow gold and genuine resistance to fading over time, worn on a black rubber strap with a folding clasp, its underside embossed with a lunar surface pattern as a nod to the model's history.
The sun-brushed yellow gold dial pairs luminescent hands and index hour markers with three chronograph subdials tracking 60 seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours, all set beneath a black ceramic bezel ring with Omega's Ceragold tachymeter scale and the famous dot over 90.
Inside runs the manual winding caliber 3861, Omega's Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement resistant to magnetic fields exceeding 15,000 gauss, delivering around 50 hours of power reserve, with the case back polished in Moonshine Gold and engraved "FIRST WATCH WORN ON THE MOON.“
This example is offered as in:

"The watch that walked on the moon, now dressed in Omega's own paler gold alloy built to resist fading forever."
