A. LANGE & SÖHNE LANGE 1 – Ref. 101.022 – 18k Yellow Gold – Folding Clasp – Silver Dial with Blued Hands – Full Set – 1999 – WEMPE Serviced 2025 - Excellent - Two Years Warranty
We are proud to present this excellent A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 Ref. 101.022, crafted in classic 18k yellow gold and black new crocodile strap and 18k folding clasp.
This early Mark II model has a silver dial and elegant thermally blued hands. This exceptional timepiece is offered as a full set, originally sold in 1999, and freshly serviced by WEMPE in october, 2025, and now with a two years warranty!
Since its debut in 1994, the Lange 1 has come to symbolize the rebirth of fine German watchmaking, offering a bold yet balanced reinterpretation of traditional horology. The 38.5mm yellow gold case sits gracefully on the wrist, with beautifully sculpted lugs and a distinctive presence that speaks to Glashütte's unmatched precision and craftsmanship.
The solid silver dial features the now-iconic off-centered layout, with a large date display at 1 o’clock, a power reserve indicator between 2 and 4, and a small seconds subdial at 5 — all perfectly arranged to maintain visual harmony. The hand-blued alpha hands and applied gold markers offer a striking contrast against the satin-finished silver dial, enhancing legibility and refinement.
Powering the watch is the legendary Lange manufacture Caliber L901.0, a hand-wound movement with twin mainspring barrels delivering a 72-hour power reserve. Visible through the sapphire caseback, the movement is a showcase of German haute horlogerie: hand-engraved balance cock, gold chatons secured by thermally blued screws, Glashütte ribbing, and beautifully polished bevels — all executed to the highest standard.
This piece is fitted with its original Lange folding clasp in 18k yellow gold, and comes complete with:
- Original A. Lange & Söhne wooden presentation box
- Certificate of Origin / Warranty papers (dated 1999)
- Instruction manual and documentation
- WEMPE service papers confirming factory service (2025) - until october 2027 under full warranty!
"An early reference(Mark II) with timeless appeal — the Lange 1 in yellow gold with the intruiging blued hands is a purist’s choice!"
Comes with a one year warranty through our watch lab.
