A. LANGE & SÖHNE Lange 1 Moon Phase, Reference 192.029, 18k White Gold, Black Dial, Folding Clasp, Box and Papers, Year 2020, Lange Service August 2026, Excellent, Full Set

Introduced in 1994, the Lange 1 gave the reborn manufacture its defining signature, an asymmetric dial breaking every convention of round watch layout, and the Moon Phase variant adds one of Lange's most poetic complications without disturbing that original balance.

The case is 18k white gold, 38.5mm and 10.4mm thick, worn on a black alligator strap with an 18k white gold folding clasp, keeping the watch genuinely wearable despite the density of information on the dial. Here we have a folding clasp instead of the pin buckle, even upraden the watch a bit more.

The black solid silver dial carries Lange's signature off-center hours and minutes, the oversized outsize date at two o'clock, a power reserve indicator at three, and small seconds combined with a moon phase and day/night display, a moon accurate to within one day roughly every 122.6 years.

Inside runs the hand wound caliber L121.3, finished with a three-quarter German silver plate, hand engraved balance cock and 43 jewels, delivering a genuine 72 hours of power reserve, visible through the sapphire display back.
