Heuer Vintage Autavia Chronograph "Jo Siffert" – Tritium Dial – Ref. 1163 – Stainless Steel – Rice Bracelet by Guy Frères – 1969

We are pleased to present this remarkable Heuer Autavia Chronograph "Jo Siffert", Ref. 1163, a true icon of motorsport history and vintage watch collecting. Produced in 1969, this timepiece is a coveted example of the Heuer Autavia series, which gained legendary status thanks to its association with Swiss racing driver Jo Siffert, who famously wore the watch during his career in the 1960s and 1970s.

The Heuer Autavia Ref. 1163 is housed in a robust stainless steel case measuring 40 mm, a size that is both commanding and wearable on the wrist. Its design features the classic rotating bezel, a chronograph function with a 12-hour totalizer at 6 o’clock, and a 30-minute totalizer at 3 o’clock. The Tritium dial of this Autavia is in very good condition, with rich, patinaed hour markers and hands that have developed a creamy glow that only tritium lume can achieve with age.
