We are proud to present this exceptionally rare and historically important HEUER AUTAVIA CHRONOGRAPH GMT Mark 1, Reference 2446, crafted in stainless steel and dating to 1967.
The Autavia stands as one of Heuer’s most iconic tool chronographs, born from the worlds of motorsport and aviation. The Ref. 2446 GMT Mark 1 represents one of the earliest and most coveted executions of the model, combining classic chronograph functionality with an additional GMT complication, making it a true professional instrument of its era.
This example features the highly sought-after Swiss Tritium dial, distinguished by its crisp typography, perfectly balanced registers, and period-correct luminous plots. The dial layout, paired with the rotating bezel and GMT functionality, embodies the golden age of Heuer tool watches - all hands are periot correct for the model.
