Blancpain Fifty Fathoms X Fathoms Ref. 5018-1230-64A – Full Set – 2021

We are delighted to present you this new-like  Blancpain – the legendary Fifty Fathoms reimagined in its most extreme form: the X Fathoms. Reference 5018-1230-64A in lightweight Grade 23 titanium with a bold 47mm case with a black rubber strap with pin buckle.

Blancpain’s most technically advanced diver to date: mechanical depth gauge up to 90m, retrograde 5-minute decompression timer, helium escape valve – all powered by the in-house Caliber 9918B. Sapphire crystal, luminous indexes, and 300m water resistance complete this ultra-professional instrument.

The black dial features luminous Arabic numerals at the quarter hours and luminous dot hour markers. It is equipped with sharp, luminous titanium baton hands, a luminous-tipped maximum depth hand with needle point, and a retrograde 5-minute decompression counter in vivid yellow between 10 and 11 o’clock, activated by a pusher integrated into the caseband at 10 o’clock. The outer depth scale from 0 to 15 meters is blue luminous with an arrow tip, while the primary depth gauge — measuring 0 to 90 meters — is centrally located in yellow, indicated by a luminous yellow arrow hand.

A fold-out, fully protected pusher at 8 o’clock resets the maximum depth indicator. The watch offers a power reserve of 120 hours when fully wound and is water-resistant to 300 meters / 1000 feet. The 24mm-thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. It is fitted with a rubber strap composed of 14 articulated segments, designed for optimal fit on the wrist while allowing water to circulate beneath the watch to ensure contact with the depth gauge membrane.

The screwed caseback features a solid metal membrane that detects water pressure variations, along with three triangular grille openings — forming the X Fathoms emblem — enabling accurate depth measurement up to 90 meters.
