We are pleased to present this excellent Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Ref. 14700BA, in 18k yellow gold and featuring a factory gold colored diamond-set dial — a rare and highly desirable configuration within the neo-vintage Royal Oak lineage.

Dating to 1990, this reference represents an important chapter in Royal Oak evolution. The 36 mm case size — often nicknamed the “Mini Jumbo” — preserves the elegant proportions and architectural sharpness of the original Genta design while offering superb versatility on the wrist. Produced in far smaller quantities than the steel variants, full-gold 14700 examples remain especially prized among collectors.

The champagne dial is beautifully executed, set with brilliant-cut diamond hour markers that elevate the model’s luxurious presence without overwhelming its clean geometric design. The petite tapisserie pattern plays with light in a subtle yet sophisticated manner, perfectly framed by the hallmark octagonal bezel secured with white-gold screws. 

The 18k yellow gold case and integrated bracelet remain in excellent condition, with sharp bevels, crisp brushing, and the fluid articulation that defines AP’s metalwork. The bracelet displays tight links and retains its original folding clasp. On the wrist, the watch offers the perfect balance of presence and refinement — a hallmark of early full-gold Royal Oaks.

Inside beats the automatic Caliber 2125, derived from the legendary Jaeger-LeCoultre 889 platform and meticulously finished by Audemars Piguet.
