Long before the Royal Oak claimed the octagon as its own signature, Audemars Piguet was already exploring that same geometric language in its ultra-thin dress watches, and this piece is a genuine artifact of that golden era, worn as an integrated whole rather than a case with a strap attached.

The 18k yellow gold octagonal case flows directly into its original integrated bracelet, both cut from the same gold to create one continuous, uninterrupted object on the wrist, a construction technique that demanded far greater skill than simply attaching a strap.

The champagne dial keeps a clean, restrained layout, letting elegant dauphine hands sweep across warm gold tones without any unnecessary complication competing for attention.

Inside runs the caliber 2121, one of the thinnest full-rotor automatic movements ever built, developed jointly with Jaeger-LeCoultre and later famously adopted across AP's own Royal Oak, at just 3.05mm thick and delivering roughly 40 hours of power reserve from 247 components.
