Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph "The Beast" Ref. 26237ST.OO.1000ST.01, Stainless Steel, Blue Dial, Full Set

When Audemars Piguet presented the first Royal Oak Offshore in 1993, many people thought it was simply too big. The watch quickly earned the nickname "The Beast", and it went on to change the way the world looked at sports watches. For the 25th anniversary of the Offshore in 2017, AP brought the original design back with the 26237ST. It stays very close to the reference 25721 from 1993, which makes it one of the most authentic modern Offshores you can buy.

The 42 mm case is made of stainless steel and measures 14.4 mm in height. It has the strong, muscular shape that made the Offshore famous, with the octagonal bezel and its eight visible screws, the large crown and pushers and the protective case flanks. The combination of brushed and polished surfaces gives the steel a lot of depth. The watch is water resistant to 100 meters and sits on an integrated steel bracelet with a folding clasp.

The blue dial carries the "Méga Tapisserie" pattern, the larger version of the classic Royal Oak waffle structure. The three blue chronograph counters blend harmoniously with the dial, and the tachymeter scale on the inner bezel completes the sporty look. The luminous hands and markers stay readable at night, and the date window sits at 3 o’clock.

Inside works the self-winding caliber 3126/3840, a robust chronograph movement with around 50 hours of power reserve.

The watch is in excellent condition and comes as a full set with box and papers, card holder, all links, plastic bezel protector.
