We are delighted to present this Excellent avant-garde Alain Silberstein Krono 2, a masterpiece of "architecte horloger" design that challenged the conventions of Swiss watchmaking in the early 1990s.

The 38 mm stainless steel case is a perfect cylindrical drum, a hallmark of Silberstein’s geometric philosophy. Its high-polish finish serves as a canvas for the playful yet sophisticated details that define the brand, including the signature colorful crown and pushers. The thick, straight lugs provide a bold architectural stance on the wrist, while the sapphire crystal protects one of the most recognizable dial designs in horological history.

The matte white dial is a vibrant celebration of the Bauhaus movement, utilizing primary colors and geometric shapes to communicate time. The whimsical "squiggle" seconds hand in gold, the triangular hour hand in red, and the baton minute hand create a visual harmony that is both artistic and surprisingly legible. This Krono 2 features a complete calendar and moonphase complication, expertly integrated into the layout without sacrificing the watch’s playful character.

Beneath the artistic exterior lies the high-performance Valjoux 7751 automatic movement. Renowned for its complexity and robustness, this caliber powers the chronograph, triple calendar (day, date, month), and 24-hour indicator. It represents a serious mechanical heart within a design that refuses to take itself too seriously, offering a power reserve of approximately 42 hours.
