The luxury watch brand Hublot (French for "bullseye") based in Nyon, Switzerland was founded in 1980 by the Italian Carlo Crocco.

The company founder was able to combine Italian design with Swiss craftsmanship and produce unconventional products. Even if the success did not start immediately, the company's history has become a success story. With the help of clever marketing strategies and unusual concepts, Hublot became the "Rising Star" among Swiss watchmakers. When Hublot was sold to LVMH in 2008, sales were estimated at 200 million Swiss francs.

Hublot - Big Bang

In 2005, Jean-Claude Biver, Chairman of the Board at Hublot, presented the Big Bang. The revolutionary Big Bang Chronograph won a series of awards at watchmaking and design contests because of the refined and daring material combinations like carbon, ceramics, titanium and tantalum. The chronograph is available as a ladies watch as well as a men's watch.

The motto "art of the fusion" is constantly reinterpreted at Hublot, thus ensuring worldwide enthusiasm and increasing sales figures.

Since 2005, models such as the Hublot Big Bang All Black or Aerobang have captured the fan base.

Hublot official timekeeper of the FIFA and World Cup

The marketing genius Jean-Claude Biver is not only responsible for the publication of a new manufactory dedicated to the development, creation and production of clockworks but also for Hublot's entry into the world of football. Since 2008 Hublot has been an official timekeeper at the European Football Championship. Since 2010 even "official timekeeper" of the FIFA and soccer world championship.

Hublot brand ambassador

The partnership with Kobe Bryant started Hublot in 2013. The former American basketball player, designed together with Hublot, the Big Bang Unico Chronograph Retrograde Kobe "Vino" Bryant and the model Kingpower Black Mamba.

Hublot adorns itself with Pelé since 2013. The Brazilian was awarded the title "World Footballer of the 20th Century" by FIFA and is considered the best footballer of all time.

On the occasion of the 2016 Olympic Games, Hublot launched two limited special models of the Big Bang collection, the Ceramic Usain Bolt and the Yellow Gold Usain Bolt. Since 2010 the Jamaican athletics sprintstar, who won three gold medals at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, is one of the brand ambassadors of the famous watchmaker.
