ROLEX DAYTONA COSMOGRAPH – Reference 116509 – 18k White Gold – Racing Dial – Box & Papers 2005

We are pleased to present this very good Rolex Daytona Cosmograph Ref. 116509, a striking and luxurious interpretation of Rolex’s legendary chronograph, rendered entirely in solid 18k white gold and paired with the wanted black racing dial.

First introduced in 1963 and forever associated with motorsport legends, the Cosmograph Daytona has become one of the most desirable chronograph models in the world. The 116509 stands apart within the modern Daytona family for its full precious metal construction, giving the watch remarkable heft and wrist presence without sacrificing functionality.

The matt black dial is a masterclass in balance and legibility — featuring contrasting red-rimmed subdials, the red minute track  and white gold applied Arabic numerals. Framed by a high-polish fixed tachymeter bezel and housed in a 40 mm 18k white gold case, the watch is as elegant as it is sporty. The matching white gold Oyster bracelet completes the aesthetic and is secured with the robust Oysterlock folding clasp.

Inside beats the Rolex calibre 4130, an in-house automatic chronograph movement known for its reliability, precision, and vertical clutch column wheel construction. With a power reserve of approximately 72 hours and COSC certification.
