Patek Philippe Nautilus Power Reserve “Mark 1” Ref. 3712/1A-001 – Stainless Steel – Three Red Dots – Box & Extract – 2005 – Patek Service 2023 – Excellent Condition
We are proud to offer this rare and historically significant Patek Philippe Nautilus Power Reserve, reference 3712/1A-001, in stainless steel, featuring the highly coveted “Mark 1” dial with three red dots — a grail for Nautilus collectors.
Launched in 2005 and produced for only about one year, the reference 3712 is among the most collectible modern Patek Philippe references. It was the first Nautilus to feature complications — combining a power reserve indicator, date with moon-phase, and small seconds — housed in the classic 40mm Jumbo case with integrated steel bracelet. The 3712 paved the way for the subsequent 5712 but remains far rarer and more sought after due to its short production run and distinctive early dial variations.
This example features the “Mark 1” dial, identifiable by the presence of three red dots within the power reserve indicator and the unique positioning and font of the date and subdials — a detail that sets it apart for discerning collectors.
The watch remains in excellent condition, with a beautifully preserved case and bracelet, and was serviced by Patek Philippe in 2023, ensuring it performs to factory standards. The movement is the ultra-thin Caliber 240 PS IRM C LU, visible through the sapphire caseback and fitted with the off-centre 22k gold micro-rotor.
